I agree, when Tevez came on against Villa, the rest couldn't support properly, especially when he was surging into the corner of the 6 yard area, Benayoun just gave up.

Tevez and Mascherano won't put up with this for long. Chelsea bound I think.
Zamora is playing well too. Etherington? Bet Bowyer was gutted.

As said, they are both gonna find they are far too good for the club in the future... cans ee them sticking around until next summer... seems to me the move was due to no interewts in the price they were being touted for (IMO)

we were shit for 75% of last night, but even if we played a blinder, i think its obvious that Mascherano is about 100 times better than anyone else we have

Tbh some people are expecting West Hame to be awesome just because they have 2 great young players.

The squad needs to be built around them, they can't just change the team performances instantly.

Also alot of people under estimated Palmero, they are actually a quality team and play a really tidy game.

Mears is a good prospect, Etherington couldn't lace Downings boots so the left wing spot for England is his for a while.

VT matty has been out for a few month and doesnt look 100%, in pre season he was looking brillaint, and also towards last season he played very well

was impressed with mears, looks solid

Mascherano looked diffrent class i think, 99% of things he won etc

was a shame we didn't at least draw in that game and as jr said Matty has been out for a while and the end of last season he was a major contribution.

A shame but hopefully we can produce something in the away leg.
