Bumpers shouldn't be a problem. Skirts won't be long enough.

Alot of sites actually sell special 5 door skirts, i know http://www.body-kit.co.uk/ do
I have the same problem, be careful with the rear bumper though, different shape.

Rear bumper should be identical to fit? They differ in age, but they all go on?

Ive actually had problems with rear bumpers. The old 3 door ones actually sit 10mm or so too high.
Annoying

The 3 door and 5 door are the same lengh (there both based on the same floor pan) the only prob fitting gsi skirts to a 5 door is the bit of the skirt that goes up the rear arch will fail the door
The front and rear bumpers are the same there no difference at all
you can get abs plastic gsi rep skirts for the 5 door from tuning.co.uk
