yes another project has started!!!!!!

went to leeds yesterday to pick the car up with the trailer and jeep, jeep drank lots of petrol going there and back!!!!

here are the pics of it this morning just before dinner:-

in some need of some bit TLC, alot more work than i was hoping but no point moaning was time to make a start!!!

with the car about 3 foot in the air i got started!!

well after a busy afternoon i have reenforced the srches to hopefully stop any chance of them cracking cos we are just smoothing the joins in, also then as u can c the skirts are not good length so but one in half and cut about a cm out of it and fibreglassed it up so fits beta now, also pulled rear arches off at the bottom and grinded some fibreglass out cos it was sitting to far out for the skirts to meet them, sits nicely now!

then after getting the arches solid, sent round them with coat of fibreglass where the join is to get them really strong, then skimmed with first layer of filler and smoothed, getting there! good for first coat of filler!!!

also fibreglassed up the front bumper grill part!!!

going out for the evening now, but had a good day on the car

Are you a chef as well? Really reckon you should consider going full time as a bodyshop dude - your work has a really good reputation, and you could easily create enough business to go full time?!

Looking forward to see how this project turns out too! Do you ever wish you were working on more cars that weren't Corsa's btw?

i love working with corsa b`s cos i know wot i am doing!! so makes things easier!!!

yea i am a chef yea, buying the lease of the pub i work in in april so i am giving up or cutting down alot on doing things like this after the jobs i have said yes to, bout 2-3more cars to do! than sort out all of mine and sell them all to raise funds!!! alot of funds needed!!!

doing cars is way to stressful on top of being a chef, anyone who is a chef will tell u just wot a bad job it is, bad hours, soooooooo much pressure, kitchen is around 40-50degress when are fan does not work!!! hehe

Yeh I cant imagine a chef being an easy job!!! Fair play to you though mate for all of this work - least its helping you earn the pennies for your lease anyway which is always good

Iaz, would you be interested in doing a bit of colour coding for my Golf GTI? Pearlescent Black!

Need the sideskirts, part of rear bumper and front spoiler done?

the door had been catching on the wings so chiped paint off so had to blow the flip into the wing, which a certen member on here said was not posable!!! hehe

also had issues with the paint on the plastics peeling off, so dash is out and being done in leather, few other bits and peices, got even faster airbags on it now!!!
