Is just coming to press (should be out tomorrow fully) that Liverpool's board is having a hastily prepared meeting tomorrow to discuss 2 or 3 bids that have come in for the club.

One is believed to be from Steve Morgan who already owns 5.5% of LFC...personally this is a bad option. He is only worth 300mil so nowhere near enough to fund buying the club, and the new stadium and investment in the team. Plus has tried underhand tactics in the past to get the club cheaply.

One of the others is also thought to be L4. A consortium of Liverpool fans with their main backer being the Kraft family. Personally my preferred option...have experience in owning sports clubs (and NFL and MLS team in the US) so will have the marketing know how to push us forward. Plus the Krafts have the money and are known genuine sports fans.

The other is unknown as yet!

If they accept Morgans bid I'll be gitted as dont like him one bit.

If they accepted L4's backed by Kraft then Id be happy. Group of Liverpool fans, and a rich genuine sportsfan backing them.

Depends who the other bidder is before I know if its good or not.

TBH we need someone coming in. We need the £150+ mil for the stadium as wont have it otherwise. Im not too bothered if we dont get more money to spend at the end of the season as dont think we need it.

nooo...no one will be coming in and throwing £400+ mil at the team. Just isnt going to happen.

If Kraft comes in he will be coming to bring his expertise in marketing a sports brand all over the world. He does it with his NFL and MLS brands currently and would bring that to us.

He wont be bringing millions upon millions to buy over-rated 30yr olds for 30mil as he is friends with them

and Ive given my opinion in the past about if Liverpool go out and buy the title, I wouldnt be happy and the genuine Liverpool fans who are at the match week in week out wouldnt be happy either as they dont want that.

Spose with rich backers they can bribe opposition goalkeepers to lay on the floor.

But the premiership cant be decided on penalties so you wont be winning it anytime soon.
