Reet, got a C20XE (coil) in and wired up as it came out of a corsa the same as mine, however there was a random red wire coming from the loom near the ECU plug. When this is connected to a 'live' power source the fuel relay clicks and the ECU light illuminates.

But the problem is (the engine is turning over and there is a spark) there seems to be no fuel coming through. Could this red wire have anything to do with it?

yes dave i do belive this red wire has somthing todo with it.
