I agree with AJ, Ibiza offers more for your money, Audi comes with a premium price because of its name.

i'd get the golf and try to spend the upper limit on it, one around £4-5k aren't the best examples

i considered all three, before getting the corrado, found the ibiza a bit too boyracer image, depends what you after in a car

R is better

only 200 made, 75 in uk
different wheels
brembos
dif interior trim
oil temp and volt gauges
carbon engine cover
dif gaiters on handbrake and gear stick
red seat belts

and 180 BHP instead of 156BHP
same engine different map

Oh right, thanks for that, so my chances of getting an R for under 6K is pretty slim

I considered lots of Vag models, purchased an Ibiza cupra on a Y plate. As A J Mair said keep your eyes open and keep looking. I managed to get mine with 20k on the clock, hpi clear, mint condition etc. So keep checking .

I think this cupra is a bit of a bargain though ibiza

You can always map a remap a cupra - think it costs around 500? John

Mine is not mapped yet but its next on my list! There are lots of different maps available, Revo is a popular one (206bhp).
They are all around the £450 - £500 mark.
