Just moved into a new place and there are a few wireless network around me. One has "Dont even think about it" as the SSID another has "Fuck Off"

Why are they broadcasting ssid at all.
(I know not broadcasting it doesn't make you unhackable but still)

sometimes if you dont broadcast it can make he wireless drop out.
I had a wireless network that if it wasnt broadcasting my wireless would bomb out everynow and again
