The GSi went into limp mode earlier and the ECU light is on..
After doing a paperclip test its telling me that its the crank sensor at fault..
Where is it located on a C16XE.. I'd just washed the engine so guessing ive got water into the connector or something..

Hmmmm sensor itself is bone dry and spotless... Where does the wiring run for it??
Its fine until I get to 3500 and it fires the light on and goes into limp home mode..

might not be crank sensor as if that goes 99% of the time the car wont run

What other things would you suspect?? Only other option ive thought of is the AFM but cant see how it couldve gone wrong by just washing the bay.
