Just a quick question do all corsas have an engine managment light?


just when i took out my dials the other day to fix my speedo i found my EML doesnt have a bulb in the back of it

lol yea they all have eml mate
may have a small problem like the o2 sensor bringing it on so it was removed before sale?

its been fine for a year and half but now its having problems

went in for a diagnostic test the other day and it didnt come up with anything so i dont think it would be coming on anyway.

So if i brought a bulb and put one in it would it work?

yer i gather the same dash is used in all models just with less connections in the loom. Thats why I was wondering if all of the corsas had a functioning EML

Yes they all have one, if you haven't that may indicate that its been removed in the past to disguise problems.

Its usual practice when buying a car to check the lights come on when you start the car before going out, do that next time.

ah well that was when i had just passed and didnt know the first thing about cars

Its been fine all this time but now its having idleing problems but hopefully it will be solved soon

idling problems? corsas have dodgy idle as standard! ive had 2 new air flow sensors and 2 idle control valves in the 18 months ive had the car and its never been anything but lumpy and shit
