Probaly because the C is better built and more able to cope with possible chassis strain.

yes, not difficult to convert into a car that originally used cable throttle though as it comes with the pedal

the pedal box is a right fuck on in a corsa c imo...

saying that i used a C20 LET for my conversion as i prefer them to the newer engine

Why do people prefer the c20let over the z20let?
Surely the newer the better in terms of reliability etc?

Reliablilty will only come into question if u were to buy a dodgy engine/loom etc.

U can get new let engines from vaux for £1200 + old engine.

Zlet is more expensive, rarer and ultimately harder/more expensive to tune than the clet.

U need to change the turbo to get anyhting over 250bhp IIRC, is justo ne example, whereas the kkk16 on a c20let is good for nigh on 300bhp.

I just cant see the extra cost being beneficial in any shape or form. Unless you find one for the right price of course

So if I was to part ex my x16xe engine in I could get a c20let from vaux for £1200?
Or does it have to be another c20let?

I'm not really thinking for now because I'm absolutely broke. I'm thinking for the future. I was hoping I could get a definitive price then save up for it.
