i have X16XE injectors in my C16 as i changed them because i thought they where buggered.
would this affect the perfomance at all. it bogs out in 5th gear at 5.5K RPM
have me mantzel in place.

same injectors as far as I am aware. they did use 2 colours, older ones had black tops, newer ones had grey tops. both are the same cc I think.

black injectors are the newer ones found in all x series of engins (x14xe/x16xe/x16xel) the c16xe had greys, i allways thought and was allways told that the early grey c16xe injectors flow ever so slightly more fuel i.e like the c20xe when comparing the creams to the blues... and i did notice a differance with my old tunned x14xe, when swapping back to the blacks from the greys it was alot better on fuel so to me that would say that the greys are slightly higher flowing.....
