just got my new alloys on yay. il get pics up soon. any way i currently have a peco big bore 4 exhaust backbox and as many of u will know its shite lol. im after a new one probs spending up to 150 quid. i want one that has a nice deep sound not too loud. i like em wen they rumble wen idle. wot makes wud provide this sound??

tryed removing the centre silencer, not the cat just the silencer, goes a long way on corsas

yeh its not a requirement its only the cat thats a requirement by law, shouldnt cost u much to have it done

is it easy to remove the silencer? i take local garage cud do it rite? and is there a difference wen removed. dont want it to sound to tacky and loud

Theres a few options available;

de-baffle the backbox, also taking out the honeycomb tube going through it

Empty out the silencer

Decat

new back box

Or mix and match some of the above lol, are you happy with the way it looks?
Also its easy to do, anyone handy with a welder and disk cutter of some sort could do it

ye i like the look of exhaust jus the sound isnt noticeable. wich do u advise? needs to pass mot. remove silencer??

Do one thing at a time untill your happy. If your thinking of removing the silencer.. go for it

Its not the cat its the fact that without it emissions will be above MOT standard, its always a gamble removing silencers.

You can buy a remus centre section without a silencer.

so taking out silencer wont make the sound to tiny ye? anyone done it with peco exhausts?
