There are 4 of us in our house all wired up to a netgear modem router via ethernet cables....

Me and Colby click on 'my network places' and we can see each others shared folders like music etc.

now my other two house mates cant?

Here is a screenshot of what I see when I click 'my network places'


And here is what Emma see's when she clicks it


So what does she need to press/change to be able to see the shared folders etc?

Make sure you are all on the same workgroup

Emmas computer had the same workgroup name as mine... MSHOME

I tried running the network wizard on hers and still nothing?

Bad timing... uuummm can you connect to her computer using her IP address? Try pinging it first, if that works then try connecting to it using internet explored, \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
