My clutch is gone x16xe 1995 n. Been quoted 165 to 500 to replace? Is it worth getting uprated clutch?

just stick another standard one in and it should outlive the car.
Its more or less an engine out job so get a few more quotes

Cost me about £150 mate. that was 3 piece clutch kit fully fitted. I would have done it myself if I had the time as its not a massive job, but the gearbox does have to come off completely.

i was quoted 100 for fitting from a garage that was flywheel aswell.

ive just payed about 60 quid for the clutch and im doin it myself, dont have to take engine out but wulda been easier, have just got mine of and waiting for clutch to turn up
