Right iv currently got a 1.4 16v corsa b sport(x14xe) and have got a few plans.
I want to use a head off a c16xe and have it ported, pollished new valves and the likes.
I know its possible because i know someone that has got it done but dont realy know him well enough to speak to him and ask him how he's gone about doing all this.
How would i go about setting all of this up once iv got it all fitted?

i imagine using the c16xe head would benefit due to having bigger valves than the x14xe? would go nicely with an inlet and exhaust manifold, raise the rev limiter a tad to reap the benefits of the inlet and your away

Well im thinking about Gas flowed, ported and polished all bench tested can get it all done rather cheap and to a high standard.
Different cams but will not be straight away
New inlet and exhaust manifolds
Think thats about it for now.

So with that head when it was first put on did you rest the ecu and then let it sort itself out as in air/fuel mixture?
surely would be running to rich seem as ports and valves are bigger?

no it just aides the fuel swirl in the head. made 115.5bhp as well on an otherwise standard car.
