So i want to use my portable PC with my home e-mail.
How do this?

theres many many ways of doing it.
IF your not dialing up to the same ISP you will only be able to collect your mail and not send on the portable.
I would suggest using your ISPs webmail feature... i.e you can access your email from any PC, and it only remains downloaded on your PC at home.

Need more info about your current email provider etc as I could tell you a way to do it to only find out its a hotmail account

Its with BT and the potable pc is a mio A701. What else do you need to know?

how are you planning on connecting to the internet with the portable?
at work using their connection? who are they with.. BT?
