Look in the owners manual. 3000 seems very low!!!

I like to look after it and keep on top of things. Seeing as I take it above 5,000rpm offten, thought it might be wise to change the oil at every 3k

3k miles sounds extremely wise - also depends on mileage. I would also change it often with short journeys with cold starts etc.

Advice for 1.0l 12v is every 10k miles for a service, if that helps eel?!

for a 1.416v would give it 5-8k.

It's meant to be about 10k, but that is far far far too much! I do my 1.2 every 5k otherwise it sounds like a bag of spanners.

Every 3k for me too. Subaru say every 6 months or 7.5k, I do 3k in 6 months so thats when its done!
