obviously the supercharger itself.
brackets and new belt.
custom pipe work for the intake.
standalone engine management.
thicker head gasket to lower compresion ratio.

any other things that would be needed? obviously manifold & exhasut would be useful and induction kit!

very general question i know!

I'd probably go for low compression pistons rather than getting just a thicker head gasket. Might be ok though, depends how much boost i guess.

how cheap one could cost? or one could cost to be done properly?

to be honest it would cost 4k to do it properly

management would be 1k minimum alone

put the fab work and labout on it and you will have 600ish

then put a cooler on it, decent one will be 550 ish, made to fit

then add the charger on to the price, new will be a fair bit. then all your sunderies!

4k is about right! add to that companies are in it to make a bit of money and are not charities!!!!

Yes a bodgy one ie if your doing a scrap banger project = £ 100s however a decent job with a supercharger kit for my car would cost £2500 ish however i like the idea of throttle bodies

i know that it would be hard to get management supplied fitted and mapped for less than 950.......

unless you mate next do can get you some megasquirt and solder it in his shed, then baz that lad in the next street can map it with his neighbours laptop cuz he did iz nova with it innit!

i cant see how you can fully map a car on the road alone!
