i am away to change my ecu to another ecu that has a superchip fitted, will this effect my unichip? is the unichip wired into the ecu or into the loom connectors?

yes it will as you will need to remap your unichip to suit
I went to dastek the other day and had a few hours messing with unichips and learning the mapping etc on them. also I imagine you are fitting the unichip for a raied limit, the unichip will only be mapped up to the standard rev limit so anything after that will not be recognised by the unichip

i am fitting the superchip to raise the rev limit. i may try it without then with to see if it gains or losses at the rolling road day.

def need unchip remapped.
The Unichip is a piggy back on the ECU, so alters the signals.... Change the initial params and the UNICHIPS final output will be different too

Unless you just get a 'customer key' unichip. Justtell them to leave the fueling as is, and just up the rev limit. Still have no 'map' at those revs though
