don't be Leeds, as you will need to purchase nearly a full squad, although i did get taken over and end up with a budget of 30 million.

got this last night. having a few problems tho as whenever i try to buy a player they never come. im leeds and trying to buy from championship/div1 clubs but nothing. even offerening 5 times the asking for players but still they say no. what am i doing wrong lol?

Could depend on ur manager profile. U can set it so u 'used' to be an international football etc. Makes a lot of difference. If u start a game with chelsea and ur an ex pro the fans don't mind but if u 'only played non league' then they will be angry that some nobody had joined!! Also works for trying to sign players too. Hope u understand?

well basically i just started a fresh as leeds so was a new manager ect. but (as an example) i tried to buy a striker from hull i think it was. was worth 200k i offered up to 1m (+ steve stone )as i was gettin annoyed lol and they still rejected. its the teams that seem to reject me btw. should i be looking at players cheaper than 200k or lower div players?

Well. I was Southend and I purchased Teddy Sherringham as a player without any problems.

I think the club (hull) might just want to keep the player and will reject whatever the price (unless it goes real silly)

Either try and unsettle him OR try someone else and you will be fine

will have another look tonight i think, was struggling to find players up for transfer etc lol. last prem manager game i plaid was years ago wen players had "star" ratings etc. was such an easy game then lol

I started a game with Luton..... it's fucking hard! I'm just above the relegation zone. I'm now in March in my first season, hoping to stay up and rebuild over the summer. Andy Robinson and Alan Tate from Swansea are good lower league players.

Signed Freddy Adu, Huddlestone, Kerzhakov and Billy Jones in the January Transfer Window for Leeds when I was taken over and handed a £19M Transfer Kitty, things are really staring to pick up now
