want to get new comps in front doors and amp them. had a look around and im no to sure if these will work together-kenwood KAC-6203 (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4825) and
Vibe SEK-60 (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.phpproducts_id=4382).
these were the the closest match for my buget (bout £130) and i wanted 100W RMS minumum.
Can anybody help me? any replies would be appreciated

If your buying speakers dont buy them off ebay as there are too many fakes on there even from uk sellers
Is there any reason you want 100w rms up front
rainbow slx 265 deluxe's do 95-100w rms there around £130. I run mine at 70 - 85w rms and there plenty loud enough
If you want that sort of rating your need a bigger budget
If you looking for sq look at going with an 2/3 way active front end then you can split the freq's before the amps for each channel then you can fine tune the way you want it
if you looking for volume you need to start reading up on aiming and soundstages
i take it you have sound deadend the doors, boot, floor and roof. I you havent your lose a lot of sound through the vibrabation in the body pannels and interior trim
If you wanna learn about ice get over on the talk audio forums and spend a few hours using the search button.

Look at getting some DLS R6A's and power them with a JBL amp (I used 75.2).

The Vibe comps are actually OK, I have a set in my Astra which I am very impressed with considering Vibe sent them too me for free.
The tweeters are cack tho but I have replaced those with Infinity ones.
The SA-K series BTW!

Thats correct.
If your going to use the existing loom for the speakers then do not have both connected once or you could have November 5th again

Most headunits have a 500mA output on the remote wire which should power 2 amps so just take another wire from the REM on your old amp to your new one.
If that doesnt work then you will need to wire up a relay
