hello i have just put chrome heater controls in my corsa prob is the blower does not work now?
and now lights are out?
if i bend pins slighly sometimes it works
can the unit thing be knackered?

all lights out yes and pins at the back of the black block that plug in when you push it in place

ok i need to clarify exactly what you've done
youve replaced the heater knobs above,
the outer two pull out and push back on, simple.
the middle one needs releasing from the clip and pull off, and push back on.
i cant see where this black connector is coming into the picture?

only the top bit of the knob should pull out you havent removed the whole lot have you?

u slide the screwdriver in and pull hard the knob comes out then at the back of it there are a few pins you can see were they slot into were the white plastic is

ahh right i can see what you mean now, just been out to the car and taken the knob off myself. hmmm has it always been loose? it shouldnt come loose unless you unclip it from the front?

is not loose fit in fine but the light was working now it aint?? (rear demister) heater lights not working, and unless you play with pins bend em slightly blower not working???

hmmm have you removed the white bulb holder for the HRW light? mines a bit wobbly and could have disturbed the connection?

probably just damaged, try another knob from breakers

well when i take my middle heater knob off, im left with the white bulb holder sticking out (for the illumination) that should stay in the console, if thats come out with the knob then it may have disturbed your connections

i have disturbed the connections at the back cause i can push it and it moves (not the connections on the heater knob) the connection in the white plastic will i know have to take it all apart to hold it in place??
