Simply question...... are there any horse power waiting to be unleashed by fitting vernier pulleys to a standard cam set-up?

infact there is on most engines. as long as you map the ignition timing to suit.
by adjusting the cam timing on a c16xe just slightly, 5bhp can be had without any other engine mods.

Mmmmmm!..... well I already have a mbe mappable ecu setup running jenvey tb's. So on a x14xe do you think i could i expect a similar 5bhp increase then?

Does anyone know which way to adjust the pulleys to achieve this ? I´m going to map my megasquirted c16xe properly soon, so might as well get some verniers and do them also. Any experiences ?

I would also like to know :-) Just a simple guideline. Mine will be remapped on a rolling road...but always nice to know some app. setting so we know where to start
