This is not a for sale thread... I'm just gauging interest in possible p/x's...

I'm fancying a change as i get bored of my cars pretty quickly. I'm testing the water to see what kind of p/x's people would consider. Ideally, i'd like a mk4 Golf GTI turbo, GTTDI or maybe something jap, but i'm pretty open to offers depending on the car that's offered. I'm in no rush to get rid, as i say i'm just interested to see the kind of response the car gets.

BodyworkDe-badged, de-locked, angel eye headlights

Engine- 4-2-1 branch manifold, induction kit, Custom straight through twin exhaust.

Wheels- Peugeot 206 nimrod alloys 16", all with v.good condition Pirelli P-Zero tyres. Lowered 40mm on spax srings+shocks

Interior- Full leather and alacantra in v.good condition, no tears or rips. Alacantra has started to bobble slightly on drivers seat (if you wanted to be picky) Full Blaupunkt sound system, consisting of sub, amp, 6x9's and front components. The head unit is a sony one however, with remote and blue lcd display. Also has Lockwood white dials.

The Car itself The car has a full service history with all stamps as proof. The car has never let me down and is great fun to drive, the car only has 42,000 miles on it which is low for its age 2000 W-reg. I do love this car and it is a mint example for a 106 GTI. It's been very well looked after and it shows in the bodywork and condition of the engine. The only reason i'm gauging interest is because i get bored pretty quick and fancy something a bit bigger.... possibly a turbo of some sort

Now that is just teasing me, I love this car and i wish i had brought it when i saw it for sale first time round, i'm really temted just to offer you a swap, i really do love this car.

It's Mine on sunday!!!!! It was the 106 that i was going to buy before i got my cupra, now it's up for sale again i'm definately not missing out on it again, can't find any 106's i like as much as this one.

106 gti's are addictive. I have sold my ibiza cupra and got another 106, diablo red 2000 plate 30k very happy with it

thats what i'm doing, i had a xsi s1 and always wanted a gti, but then thought i'd go for something better so got an ibiza but i miss the fun of the 106!

Awesome little car that It's absolutely exactly how I'd have a 106 GTi looking if I'd gotten one instead of my Astra.

Oh my GOD!!!!! I'm so pleased, probably gonna get the boot dehandled/delocked to complete the smooth / subtle look of the car, i thought it'd feel slow compared to my ibiza but it just roars!!! It's so fun to drive, looks amazing, getting the show cage on wednesday, and putting my momo steering wheels in it tonight, future plans may be to get it supercharged, but for now i'm over the moon, oh and possibly some 15" split rims but atm i love the look of it with the 16's.

Thanks Mark, hope your enjoying the ibiza as much as i'm enjoying the pug, oh and the 3rd brake light is actually really COOL!!!!!!!
