Which am I best doing?
Im really tempted to go out and get myself a 360, but if the PS3 is going to be amazing then Id rather wait...opinions?

yeah all reviews about ps3 iv read have been pretty poor, not to mention the cost, the xbox is no less capable either, the ps3 will not have better graphics etc, the only thing between them is the quality of the games, and so far the games iv bought for the xobx have been fucking excellent

the 360 is more powerful in some ways and the ps3 is in others. what it boils down to is both are about as good as each other, but the 360 is much easier for game developers to work on.

Developers have had a year to work on the 360, games will be better on the 360 for a while. Get a 360 and wait for the price to drop on the PS3.

I heard PS3 is so far behind that after less than a year of it being out they'll already be starting on PS4 (or whatever they name it)
The thing is, you CAN afford all three... Xbox is availible now and has plenty of good games, Wii is cheap and good for a laugh, and PS3 is so far off that you'll be able to save up for it.
go for the 360  (for now)

Now- 360, in a year, PS3, If you want something random, Wii.
PS3 is only worth it for GT-HD IMO.

Wii only costs £179, very cheap for some party fun.
PS3 will have tired old series like Final Fantasy and Gran Tourismo, where as 360 has Fresh new games and outstanding series like Halo, PGR etc

They are bringing out GT4 HD, it will have two games on one disc, a Classic an d Premium. Classic is GT4 but in HD, and Premium will be a taster of GT5 with 2 tracks and 30 cars. They will have damage in the new GT5 aswell. Apparently you can download new tracks and cars for the premium level essentially ending up with a full GT5 game - although you have to pay (about 20p a car and couple of quid for a track).
I was dissapointed with the PS3 launch but having read the IGN review of the console and seeing what's to come in the new PlayStation magazine I can't wait for it to come to these shores.
