My mate scrapped is L-reg Corsa a while back and gave me his wiper blades and spare bulb kit. His bulb kit is Number 1 on the Halfords website however for my car (W-reg), it says I need kit Number 2.

Is there actually any difference because as far as I knew, the light set-up was the same?! i.e. no difference like with Corsa C pre and post facelift. If there is a difference that anyone knows of, are there any that I can still use in mine?

the headlight bulb may be different

but you can still use most of them

My mate did mention the headlight and full beam being different bulbs in a post-97 as opposed to double-fillament or something. May have been the sidelight and headlight actually.
