There other teams Id rather get tha Celtic, simply because they would really get themselves up for the game. But if you played like you did against Utd in the first half I have no doubt we'd beat you!

go and find where I have said a goal against us was offside, as you seem to think I often to this. Seriously, just find the weekend game posts and find one please.
Other than that, yeah, Ive no doubt. You were shocking in that first half, and god knows how Utd didnt get 3 or 4 goals as they were all over you.

They didn't get 3 or 4 goals because they lacked a final ball up front. And also it wasn't the first 45 it was the whole 90 barring the first 5 mins of the second half until Man U adjusted.
Still Naka scored Saha missed and we won and we're through what more can you ask for?

Im not taking the result away from you, and not saying Utd were the better team either.
Im just saying YOUR actual performance was shocking. Granted it was probably below what you usually play like, but you cant say you didnt play badly, and were only saved an absolute drubbing because Utd didnt play too well either.
Oh, and Im still waiting for you to find where I always say these excuses you have mentioned in a few threads now. Feel free to U2U me with the link, or create a new thread  I think you'll find I havent come out with any excuses when we have been poor though.

Were you watching a different game from me? they humped us for 85 minutes solid and all they lacked was a killer edge up front. I would hate to have seen them playing well if that was them playing badly.

they were playing badly, it wasnt like they were ontop but your defense was so immense it stopped everything thrown at them. They were comfortable in the fact you didnt really trouble them too much, but they didnt attack you like they can and score like they should have...hence played badly!

Kind of like us last night. Pointless match as we were already first, and Galatasry were already bottom of group.
