Its crap..............how do i tighten it? By the cable on the drum? Not sure exactly tho. The handle comes way up and it doesnt hold on steep hills. Cheers

by the adjuster inside the drum.......then when thats adjusted as far as possible, by the cable

Or just use the adjuster where the cable splits in themiddle of the rear beam, easy

erm...no mate...thats not the right way of doing it, that'll give you a good handbrake but loads of pedal travel

How does adjusting thr centre part affect pedal travel? Since the breaks are hydraulic and handbrake is cable.

the cable pulls the shoes further apart....meaning the 'hydraullic' cylinders will ahve further to travel, and return.
therefore....increasing the ammount of fluid passed between the resevoir and cylinder........increasing pedal travel...

well thats how i did mine and it was fine. Didnt affect pedal travel at all
