Hasn't done this in ages! My car likes to pop out it's shorter driveshaft every now and then. It hasn't happened in aggggges. But did it just now when i was driving out of work

Nothing a Jack and Rubber Mallet didn't cure!

Next thing, While i'm under the car wrestling with the shaft, i looked at the inside of the rear wheel and it's covered in Brake Fluid! Great. Stripping that soon then!

Oh yeh... MoT next week

It shouldn't pop the shaft that easily mate.. Ive had a LOT of cars lowered and the only problems I've ever had were inner CV joints popping on my MK2 golf because of the angle the shafts sat at..

I'd be having a look into why its popping rather than just putting up with it..

Rear brake cylinder went on mine a while back, stripped all the black paint off the inside of my rim

Easy job to sort though.

do you lift the car off the ground much? thats why my driveshaft poped out, coz it had been on some ramps

or have you been jumping bridges, and going airborn!
