Im looking to get a new car within the next 2 month, so im looking now, to get ideas for prices etc. Im 18 and been on my dads insurance so dont have any NCB. I will be going on my own insurance.
So far ive rounded it down to 3:
Another Corsa Sport, post 97 model.
106 Quiksilver or
Saxo VTR.
Ive always liked the VTR and Quiksilver, so i think im heading more towards them, im scared that if i get another Sport, ill get bored of it really quickly, seen as ive owned one for the past year.
Opinions please? Aint really fussed about how quick they are, just want to know peoples opinions on looks/mods/reliability etc.
Cheers,
Andy.

well for looks i'd get the 106, for driveability i'd get the vtr, as for mods i think they're equally 'modable'

Yeah can insure a VTR, my mates just passed his test about 3 week ago, and just turned 18 last month, hes got one as his first car on his own insurance, so thats no probs.

Yeah. I had a quote of 1600 TPFT on a 1.6 Sport, which is IG 10, so VTR should be a little cheaper.

I'd do an insurance quote on a VTR first though if I were you... I tried quotes on a 106 GTi and a Saxo VTS, same car/engine, but the Saxo was a lot more expensive to insure with Admiral (though the car itself is probably cheaper to buy as they don't hold their value as well as the 106).
