prob a stupid question but was just thinkin, how do ya reckon the corsa vxr would be against a 2ltr corsa b?

dont really know much bout the 2ltr's (spec etc)

anyways just a thought

i think a std XE corsa has less power than the vxr but i'd guess the corsa B would be lighter...TBH i think the vxr would fair pretty well against a 2 ltr

not sure, 180bhp 1.6 turbo (new engine) against a corsa b with a few years old engine that was 150bhp, but could be much less now. i'd say the corsa would be slightly quicker, unless its a really mint redtop thats been taken care of, u never know, power to weight ratio and all that.... perhaps someone could find out soon, ill try and arrange it when we get one in at work soon for a race against a 2.0 corsa!!

Top speed of 140mph and 0-60 in 6.8 seconds for the VXR.

Redtop Corsa are about 140/150mph aint they and 0-60 in 5.5?

Corsa VXR has turbocharged 1.6 16v engine which produces 192PS (c. 189bhp) according to vauxhall.co.uk...
