I was just having a look on google images for galicia (the part of spain im moving to in sept) and came across this picture. I had no idea the waves in Spain could get that big, quite impressive!

im moving there for 10 months in sept, got to come back towales to finish final year of spanish degree after that but then Ive pretty much got my heart set on leaving for good too

When I was around 10 I went to tenerife, and the waves where that big. Before they form they take all the water from the beach and you get sucked in. I lost my trunks, as the waves took them!

Gutted, hope the sea wasnt shrivingly cold! These pics were taken on the North West coast of mainland Spain though, Tenerife is quite a bit further way.

Yes. Got some pictures somewhere, waves higher than my house

After a few I decided not to go near them as they nearly killed me.. And choking on sea water isnt nice

Itsd scary beacuse when the waves are forming they're that big and powerful that if you're in the water you get sucked in and theres nothing you can do about it
