put £10k they will negotiate with you anyway
dont put it too low as they already have a figure in mind and if yours is lower than theirs its a bonus for them but if yours is higher the will negotiate with you

Im 24, almost 25, located central scotland in the heart of the oil & gas industry, 40's pipeline flows right into my town Im currently doing my HNC in electrical engineering just now & will be looking for a job once it finishes, might need to take an apprentice position to get me a start but im willing to do that.
Is £10k not a lot for a 1st year apprentice?? Im willing to do whatever it takes to get in, might put i'll work for free I dont give a fuck about the wages for the next 4 yrs tbh....im looking long term with this!!

Dont sell yourself too short though.
I had just finished my 3 year HNC in plant and process principles (mechatronics). i think i started off on 10k at around the age of 18.

Its an apprenticeship, you cant expect to get a fat pay while getting put through intense training & courses!!
Its maybe a bit cheaper to live up here but not as much as is made out, I still have the same bills as the next person, just have to manage somehow. Im more than willing to struggle for the next 3-4yrs to get a good job. After that £30-£40k/yr will be common place!!

Theres a discussion on that in house day and the property, for the most part, isn't any cheaper either.
