... well havnt had the car for over a year now and dont know whats happening with it now, anyone know? it was still to be repaired last time i heard

It started when this happened to my old corsa sport:

after looking at a few different cars, went to look at another sport for the hell of it, whilst there spotted a SRi in the corner, and done a deal on it for cash, but had no warrenty offerd so decided to get a RAC inspection done, then the RAC inspector crashed it on the test drive
so i ended up getting the one i went to see, it was a totatlly standard black sport not even alloys just trims!

it took me all of about an hour before i started putting bits from the older corsa on.

about 6 weeks into ownership i had already had the wheels and suspension fitted then got a full reiger kit fitted:

after that it was just adding or changing little bits hear and there, like wheels, mirrors, single wiper etc, until it got to this stage:

there were also a few ICE changes along the way:

out with the old in with the new:

then it was time for a fairly big change, always wanted to do this but never had the balls, but then i just thought balls to it get it done, so dropped it off at the bodyshop then went to gran canaria for a week, dont recommend doing this, as it drives you nuts

then it was time for abit of an interior and ICE refresh, and if your gonna do it do it properly:

then it was time for a new front bumper, slammed even more on the coilovers, new lights and a new install:

oh yeh and a Redline feature

Then it was onto the final touches that i made to the car, recess, wheels, dash, smoothed wings, doors and basically full respray including door shuts etc:

changed back to black dials:

and the finishing touch, a TV feature:

and thats how it was when i sold it.

sorry for so many pics and so little commentry but it was a while ago now

Yeh the Dasj was trimmed in alcantara, well the top was on the second dash!

cant remeber how much it was about 300 i think as it was a fiddly job to make look right, the interior cost a good 3k in total, but that was everything, roof lining, pillars etc all in 45quid a metre alcantara!

yeh teh two tone was abit of a shocker to a few but i managed to tuen alot of people around to it!

line driver, helps boost the pre out from the headunit to the amps, requires alot of fiddling to get right, but when right makes the world of difference and protects your amps as they are recieving the correct input voltage.

all th interior MDF/fibgreglass/filler work was my own work, only painting and trimming i didnt do, thats why i loved the interior so much as i actually did most of it!

right il try and answer all the questions :

Wonderboy: yeh did the install and door cards etc all myself.

deano87: was only a 1.4 16v, it was either finish it off with a new engine or tune that one or get a new car, new car won it.

it did cost a fair bit yeh, as i kept changing things and re spraying things about 25k in total.

CorsaB4ever: as hoddo explained, the clocks were inside a small box behind the drivers seat with a camera pointing at them then that image is relayed onto the screen.

adriches: its a 13.5 inch sub, i had a power cap aswell, but its underneath the install as no room with the screen and amps.

adriches: bought the cage second hand mate, well it was brand new but the guys corsa got nicked before he could fit it. its a dimma one.

ive never been able to add up how much it did really cost, as some time i think 25k with the original 4k price in that but others it can add up to just 25k on mods!

but when you think it was 3k+ interior, 3k+ ICE just for the last install so a good extra 2K the installs before, probably 1.5k on suspension over the years, 2k on wheels, christ knows how much in bodyshop bills!

it is gutting to think that i could have paid off half my mortgage instead of paying for the car but i'll never regret doing it, it was my hobby of the time, i would stay in saturday nights etc work overtime to pay for it, so it wasnt as if i was pissing it up against a wall, i had something to show for it!

and yeh it would have been nice to go for the LET in the end, but im seriously lost when it comes to under the bonnet stuff and when the little things went wrong i would have had to try and get it to a garage etc, and really it would have been abit of a waste considdering the weight of the install, dynamat etc.

I really do think this is the finest Corsa ever. Attention to detail is .

I spent about an hour staring at it and making small talk with Sam at PVS 2005

Looks like it was worth every penny too. The interior and dashes were a work of art

Wish we could ll see it again
