didnt think they would be worth £6.99 but my god they are

used 1/5 the amount of products I usually would with a normal cloth as these dont absorb it all and the finish on the bm is 10 times better

going to get a microfibre finishing buffer too tomorrow but £11.99 is a bit much, good job the autoglym range is 3 for 2 at halfords at the moment

thanks for the 3 for 2 info.. I'll get myself down there.

I have to say the Autoglym polishing cloth is the best I have ever used.

I only use them to remove product mind. I use foam pads to apply.

The cotton is so much softer than any other polishing cloth i have found!

I use Super Resin Polish and High Gloss protection on mine.

High Gloss is to be used after application of a polish. And brings the car up in a really great shine.

Ultra deep shine works better on dark cars i've found, although I haven't tried any on my car!

so i would be best off using ultra deep shine then high gloss on my dark blue paint?

what about t-cut first? or does the polish cut it too? i found it removed a lot of scratches actually thinking about it

I wouldn't use T-Cut on my car! Super Resin cuts the paint slightly every time. Use that a few times, and the colour will be bought out!

What's the condition of your paint like? Feel like glass? Perhaps try Meguiars Claybar?

you would indeed be better using ultradeep. Its basically just a newer version of super resin.. Its better..

The high gloss protection is not polishin.. its a sealer.

It will not really make the paint any more shiny. It will just seal in the polish and protect the paint some more. Its a blend of waxes etc..

Worth doing every so often. Trick is to leave it on as long as possible.

I tend to leave mine over night. Apply it in long straight lines. not round and round like polish.

I only leave mine on over night as i park my car in my garage each night.

I would allow it to stay on for a least 2 hours before buffing off.

you only need a small amount too

All autoglyms polishes have a slight cut to them.

They won't do the car any harm at all.. but when you find fine scratches in the paint, if you rub a bit harder on them, and spend a little more time applying the polish to the areas, you will see them come out.

thanks pete

ran out of super resin polish so will swap to ultra deep

pain feels like mirror, spotless really, but has a few small scratches in and swirls, less today now i used super resin polish

i used to use the blue colour polish from turtle but ran out and found a bit of autoglym i had left over from the corsa - forgot how good it was

also bought the leather cleaner and conditioner too, that stuff is ok, used merguiers before but ran out too

turtle clear glass polish i find is the best for glass

oh use autoglym convertible hood cleaner/sealer too - its good

i need a decent wash mit, bucket and wash leather now - any ideas

Aren't the perfect polishing cloths the same as the roll of polishing cloths that Halfords sell for about 3.99?? I don't use the applicator pads as I find they drag.

I didn't know about the 3 for 2 offer. Iw as in halfords on Saturday as well and bought some Auto Glym Bumper Care and another brand of T-cut. If i had a known i would just off bought Auto Glym T-Cut.

Need to buy some polish the nest time i'm in there. I usually apply my polish with a old spounge. I think it works pretty well, what do you guys think about that ? Then remove it with a buffer thing which works really well.

For t-cut i usually use a cloth for putting it on and taking it off. It can take ages though

I am big time into my cleaning stuff now...bought some Autoglym set last weekend...

But have heard nothing but praise about the Meguiars stuff...

My cars metallic silver...whats the best Meguiars stuff to go for? Ideally would like a shampoo...wax...and wheel cleaner...application stuff too like mits etc...couldnt be arsed with all that 4 stage waxing stuff...

Just want a kit I can use for say 3-4 hours on the car...

Trouble is in this weather it stays clean for all of 2 days...and I travel on the motorway 4 days a week...nightmare...

I don't rate AG. Clearkote, Megs, Poorboys and Chemical Guys are superior imo.

Auto Glym is very dusty. Also, don't use a chamois as they scratch your paint, get a Poorboys or Megs Waffle Weave imstead.

Autoglym shouldnt be dusty as long as you dont cake it on, a little goes a long way.

For wax, this stuff is unbeatable for winter protection.
