How is a letter of complaint structured
What it is, im planning on sending in a letter of complaint about one of my managers at work since he is just a total cock tbh, he has a crap attitude towards all his shopfloor staff and has a crap attitude in general towards helping out etc.
In particular there will be reference to the fact he can speak to us "how the fcuk he wants" and that he called me a "fcuking goon" ( ) How do i put this into the letter? Can i swear in a letter of complaint!?
Thats going to be todays little job when im back from my lecture
Thanks for any sites with examples or help

about 'can I swear in a letter of complaint'
No, but you can point out the use of foul language and this can be disclosed later, if needed

Quote what he said to you.
Start off with your position/role etc then explain how you are treated, giving examples if needed.

Why not ring Citizens advice? They could point you in the right direction and give you a couple of suggestions that you could do..

i dont like this place, i went there for work experience and then about a year later found out i was in fact working along side convicted criminals
but still, might try them if i get too stook
i only want it to be short and seriarse, cba spening all day composing a letter although i am still seriarse about making a complaint

just write it how you want, it doesnt need to follow a specific structure, your only highliting a problem in the business, they will be more concerned with whats going on rather than the structure its wrote down in.
just name, department ect, then go into the problems your having.

Give the reason to why you are complaining... say its an unethical practise in the workplace

tbf the chances are nothing will come of it, managers tend to stick toghether unless there trying to cover there owns backs when some one takes them to a tribunal.

i thought this, he does appear to get a lot of bum love off the store manager but you never know, worth a try and still if he sees an effort has been made against his attitude he might think twice.

Where is it you work?
Most retail places have a "in house" contact number which directs you to someone at head office whom is there solely to help problems like these
