Caused 4 fence pannels which are now down in the garden!!

and to top it off, the areial on the roof is hanging down the side of the house no tv!

im gona be heading out in a bit... 40-odd miles from Liverpool to Macclesfield...

think I may avoid the M6/M62 and just go through Runcorn/Northwich...

Fences are fine here, concrete posts! hehe Few trees come down in the fields infront though.

Wind seems to be gettig worse, the gusts that are causing the problems.

One thing I have noticed around here....

The traffic light signals, the actual black box has moved position, on quite a few of them.

I noticed that.

Level crossings at stations have sensors on the barriers and as a result the wind is stopping them coming down when the lights flash

M6 is shut, M62 is shut.. M57 is shut.. Runcorn Bridge is shut...

my lil sisters driving test has been cancelled due to the wind, so its actyully made the roads a safer place to be!

my fence is down aswell.
so far the corsa is ok but had a near miss with a flying fence pannel, that could have been nasty

7 ridge tiles have come off my house and my sky dish has turned round 90 degrees so i cant watch tv. No ladders here so i cant fix it til tomorra. I'll be off to the pub in a bit i think.

Theres NO WAY I'd be up a ladder in this weather.

Driving to college yesterday I managed to keep up with an ambulance with its sirens on, must have only been doing about 45mph because of the wind and rain.

Due to the motorways and road closures around here..

Gaz has been stuck in traffic since 4 o clock he isnt even half a mile from his home but i bet it'll take him at least 30 minutes

I have been on CC for about 5-6 years now.. its shite..

Yeah people do go the land but to be honest i'd rather wait a month and go to a NWNW meet
