As you know all new wood and doors, and new floor..

Not had much time over last few weeks..

I have filled / sanded all the walls....

Painted out this purple wall, 2 coats..This is the wall thats getting paper on it...
Also got coving to go up.....

Other purple wall painted ouy

These were only quicly painted over and not the actual colour etc..was just to get rid of the purple before we paint properly..

2 doors painted front and back 3 coats on each

And the inside of cupboard all done, all woodwork with 3 coats and inside with 2 coats..

Toy cupboard at moment

Next job is finish other door
Give all the skirting a quick sand
Fit coving and paint that and ceiling
Paint all woodwork
Paint 3 walls
paper that one fireplace wall...(not picked yet )
Paint fireplace same colour as the 3 non papered walls (cream more than likely)
replace light socket and light..

and jobs nearly done

kool your plan of work should be....

1, fit covng, prime then fill it, snad it down.
2, paint ceiling and coving two coats.
3, paint walls, 2/3coats depending how it covers on the purple. Coat fire place at the same time.
4, knot, prime, fill woodwork. rub/nib it down.
5. undercoat woodwork (extra coat of undercoat won't hurt on new woodwork) then gloss. or if eggshelling, two coats of eggshell (as its self undercoating)
6. prep and paint doors two coats (undercoat then finish coat) at the same time.
7. paper walls when woodwork is dry. If lining the walls before papering (advised!!!) do this before section 5 and 6.

I usually do ok mate, but thanks..

Doors are already undercoated and getting 3 coats of Eggshell..

As for the order more than likely will chop and change...

Never added in all I will be doing, but of course I will be filing and sanding coving etc prior ro painting and that....

That one fireplace wall that is getting papered, wall has been filled and smoothed and sanded down and then 2 coats of paint..I won't be putting lining paper on it as really there is no need..

cheers though..

Hopefully be finished in about 4 weeks
