are the selling fast in other places? in northants we wanted to view 4 this weekend and 2 were sold and 1 was under offer. The 4th had just come on the market @ £146k and has had offers made within a day

sales are no way slowing doen as people need to buy houses so will pay what they have to pay
Also with people charging so much for rent it makes sense to buy if you can get the finance
I have just bought a house - was on the maket for 9 hours

 its quite worrying actually, as if demand goes up so do prices, then i shall be priced out of the market

We're looking at a 2 bed at the mo, but it's 189k, although it has a building in the garden which could be another 2 rooms.
Houses round here are selling fast still, ours has been on the market 5 days, and 2 people have said they're going to be making an offer.

good choice, they're pretty nice houses round there.

In my area (mainly built in the 80s/90s) there is a fundamental problem.....
A two bed house/flat would be a meagre double room with a box bed second...if you live in one you very quickly understand that your clothes etc take up the spare room space quickly...add a kid and hey presto....no available space whatsoever

Thats out of town in a really shitty area. The other one is walking distance from town & area is better
Plus its not boarded up
I don't want to move out of my house, but Im tempted to buy a little place like that & rent it out just to get on the ladder!

i moved from east hunsbury to wootton fields, and i agree the 2 beds sell fats, 3 beds sell a little slower.
