my brakes are squeaking realy bad at the moment like realy loud! so embarrassing! i dont understand why though as they are new brake pads and disks, only been on for a few weeks!
i had my car mot'd the other day and they said the offside front brake hose is slightly deteriorated, could this be my problem?

i got the same problem (new pads and disks) i think u have to wait til they've worn down a bit

When fitting the pads, did you use some grease? if not then that will be the prob. just need to get some more use in them and it will stop.

i just used some brake disk cleaning stuff and its reduced the noise dramatically. only got a little squeek just before i stop now

its normally brake dust build up that causes squeaks

when the garage fitted them they just said dont brake hard for the first few hundred miles, not sure whther they are greased up i aint no gd on cars! could they just be bedding in, they perform well just they squeak now and then!
