Anybody heard of this diease?
Well I've been diagnosed with it at the age of 19, it's meant to happen to 50+ year olds.
Bad news for me, just gotta live on now.

It's what Steven Hawking suffers with IIRC. He developed symptoms around age 21 I think.

currently i have lost a little bit of muscle from my hand and somedays im weak and off balanced.
hopefully it wont kick in till late life for me!

its initially bad news, but its possible it wont kick in badly for a very long time if at all. if i remember my biology lessons correctly. don't let it beat you down

yeah.
errm, 6/7months or so now but i've only been diagnosed recently.

yeah, but my hand is still in tac as i can life and stuff with it, but only for a certain length of time.
its just difficult like when i go out clubbin and stuff coz i dont drink much anymore (yes im aloud to use alcohol with the tablets im on) because i dont wont to fall and break anything which the deisease can attack easily.
but im gonna live on, im a strong person and i got all my family and friends supporting me.
thing that upsets me is knowing i can do what i used to do, like when i see people running and stuff.
but im still doing engine work so im fine

what would happen if you went running then?
its hard to imagine having something like that, if your holding something then for too long will your hand just give way and let go?
