Ok I need some bolts but dont know what size.

Looking on the net when you see M6 x 40mm im guessing M6 is the width & 40mm is the length???

when measuring an existing bolts width to I count the thread in the measure.....silly question probably do. Dont want to order the wrong stuff though

but if your bolting in to somthing you need to no the thred pitch is it metric fine metric corse etc etc

If its for your car it will be metric fine that you will need. Normal Metric threads wont match up as the pitch is different.

Im needing bolts to hold the center caps on my alloys -



Head needs to be larger than 10mm, needs to be 35 or 40mm long & M8 size....just trying to find something suitable.
