I am having a cat back stainless system fitted built and fitted in the morning by Longlife in Swansea.
The dilemma is whether to go for a 2" or 3" tailpipe, but I'm not sure, don't want it too big but also not so it still looks small.
Can you please post pictures of your exhausts and say what size it is, so I can see decide what to choose?
Thanks

no bigger than 3.5", 3" is perfect imo, 2" will look tiny.

beware. longlife = powerflow in disguise. the name powerflow has gone drasticly downhill over the last few years, so they are being Re-branded as Longlife. Powerflow dealers are having to pay an extra £5000 a year to the franchisers to be given a new Longlife franchise (what a good moneymaker:lol They are both franchise based companies and some vary massively in their quality of work and materials. for example, 1 longlife dealer I know of cuts and welds flanges onto all of the joints for a better seal and far more professional job. another I know of sleeve joints them with plenty of exhaust sealant and U clamps.
I know which I would prefer

Yea I know about the powerflow thing Dave, but have heard nothing but praise for the one in Swansea, they come highly recommended.
I will ring them 1st thing as my car is there at the moment, and tell them I want a 3".
Thanks guys

2" looks awesome on 106s especially when they stick out. Usually corsa bores tend to be around 2 1/4 so tailpipe needs to be at least that. id go 2.5 outrolled personally.

stop whinging you ghey. its not just 1 powerflow, its loads. The one up here is empty all the time because of the horror stories about them, one lads exhaust fell off 2 miles from the shop as they had sleeve jointed the exhaust and tied it on with cable ties, then it rusted in less than 1 year and they wouldnt replace it.
its a 50/50 thing. theres some good, some bad. you will find that the good ones dont even use the shite stainless that powerflow themselfes sell.

When I was down at Custom Chrome, they told me about a lad with a Renault 19, been to powerflow and was charged nearly 300 notes for a full system. He then had a problem with one of the boxes collapsing, took it to CC and they found that PF hadn't used a single clamp, instead welding every joint
Another one was a guy with a beemer, paid for a full s/s cat back twin exit at PF, then found out that they'd welded a hanger onto the propshaft
Fucked up the shaft and the "system" when he put it into gear and tried to reverse out of the shop.

welded a hanger to a propshaft
lad went to the one in newcastle, they removed his wheel to get easier access to the backbox. the wheel fell off the next day.

i had a 2.5inch outward roll on my corsa, looked the nuts.
Some might say its small, but its a small car remember and i think it suits it better.

Get a proper after market jobbie like Magnex, Piper or even Jetex if you want someething classy. Cutom jobbies are never any good unless they are Tony law/ BTB or blueflame
