Going to look at a few tommorow, just want to know what peoples opinion are on them. e.g. heard any horror stories etc.
And which is the best colour? quite like the graphite, but not sure.

have a look on www.seatcupra.net, lots of info on them there.
never heard any bad stories about them, was tempted to px the ibiza in and get one as they look smart as standard and map up to 260bhp straight away.

I like them. My mate used to have a regular Cupra. Had leather, climate etc. I think R's are just cloth though. I prefer the graphite colour too.

Love the R's - the standard Cupra's don't look anything special to me imho.

I test drove a 225bhp version and loved it, felt solid and looked the business in the Flash Red colour
If all goes well I will deffo have one towards the end of the year
I had a play with one aaaages ago in my old GSI and it pretty much handed my ass to me, not sure if it was standard or not though

Even the maths dont add up
taken from performance calc
corsa xe - 150bhp
980kgs kerb weight
0-60 - 7.13
155 - bhp/ton (what you really need to go on)
1/4 - 15.16
LCR - 225bhp
1380 kerb weight
0-60 - 6.7
165.66 bhp/ton
14.8 - 1/4 mile
so you have less bhp/ton, a lot less torque yet you beat one
