Right...playing today....ball runs between me and a defender...I attempt a shot as we meet in a 50-50...he stands his ground and goes in with his studs showing...

Result = Me kicking the bottom of his boot and studs as hard as I could...

Pain....

Can hardly walk now...have severe brusing on the soft instep part of my foot...its going a nice black colour... ...anyway....dont think anything is broken as I can wiggle my toes...BUT the pain is starting to get unbearable...have taken pain killers etc...

Need to know one thing...am I best keeping the elasticated bandage on it that I have on now? As its so sore or...shalll I take it off? Or will this result in the swelling increasing???

Not happy...

I would get it checked out just to be on the safe side, other than that Ice 10mins on 10mins off for an hour every other hour.

i'd agree, get it checked, and ice will help to reduce the swelling.

No definately not a break around that area...as I can wiggle all my toes fine with no pain...

Its just swollen loads...you can see clearly 4 stud marks on the top and side of my foot...

Hopefully its just severe bruising...

If its still bad tomorrow im going to get it X-Ray'd
