brushed the block with a wire brush, Cleaned up with gunk engine cleaner, painted by brush, Mark did it, so I don't know how hard it was, I was at work when he did it

that must've been a good 2 years ago then
i used engine lacquer on the block, and regular paint on the head (which flaked off, dont do that)

Mines an all year round driver, your missing out on too much fun when it goes away for the winter. I was thinking about silver, it looks fresh and clean, but i don't want to be cleaning the engine bay every couple of days.

I usually let my right foot take care of the anger side of things
After all, I am spending my wage and any other pennies I can scrape together on the car, I might as well try and keep it clean . . . . for a while anyways

Mine was silver so I could see any oil leaks
wasn't hard to keep clean at all, as it didn't leak any oil.

hammerite is fine for metal, you might want the high temp stuff, but personally, I wouldn't bother

But surely if your going to do it properly, you will want to put high temp paint on high temp parts??
