As the title says, done another canvas a couple of weeks ago with a friend I work with, it was originally going to be for her boyfriend but she thinks she'll keep it for her flat when she moves in in a few days time, she came up with the idea of a tarten design which was a bit of a challenge but we got on with it and it came out ok in the end, anyway, here's the WIP pics:
First we painted the canvases the background colour (Note the scarf we used to get the design right):

Then it was time to mask up for the big squares on the background, width ways first:

After that came the measuring up for the length ways:

and masked up:

Background done:

Now came the awkward bit, the top layer of thiner stripes, all measured up and masked off:

Width ways stripes painted and dired, on to the length way ones:

All done, will get more pics when they are hung up:


And finally a pic of the last one I done and gave to my parents for them to put in their converted loft (which my Mum uses as a almost home office):

I wouldn't of chosen them coulurs neither Ally, but it was her idea so she picked them.
