Sorry about the essay but I gotta share my sterss & anger!

Did a 'mate' a favour by taking him 140miles to pick up a 306 he'd bought on Wednesday aft.

Within 2miles of leaving the previous owners house the Stupid, useless badger drove into the back of me

Managed to stay calm & calm my 'mate' down when it happened but when I saw it on the recovery truck I had to swallow hard. My baby!

Done in my Bumper, both taillights, Tailgate, rr slam panel bit and creased boot floor a bit. Gutted

I had big plans for the Gsi... X18xe1 fitting, gaz coilovers i'd just bought off psychosport (cheers mate!) , arb iv just bought off Dave a (Thanks again)
and and endless list of performance & subtle styling mods.

Courtesy car tips up this afternoon so at least i can still get home this weekend. Shitter

Sorry to hear that mate, what was the damage to his car? You could probably get most of the bits from the classifieds as there are a few gsi's being broken, And if boot floor isn't too bad you could prob get it pulled out for 150-200 quid.

If you had them original plans matey, corsa gsi's are going so cheap on ebay no days. Prob beast looking on there, some even with broke engines so the x18xe would be ideal. Sorry to hear about the accident tho. Aslong as your ok

put it back to standard - insurers can be funny and not pay out

but its not your insurers who are paying, so should be okay

Insurers called today. Said they've appointed a local body shop to look at the car. They want £700 excess if they fix! But say i can claim it back as it wasn't my fault.

Only got rid of my brand new coilovers & rear arb the other day thought it was going to be written off for sure!

Plan to keep it sorn to save cash when it comes back from bodyshop, buy another set of coilies & arb, Big brakes..........
