Playing on my K800i the other day I noticed I could remote control media player and stuff like that through bluetooth....
Any more info about that? What do I need to make it work etc?

Is your PC bluetooth?
Just go into it on your phone & it lets you use the mouse. Simple as

My laptop isnt bluetooth I dont think 
If I plugged in a bluetooth dongle would that work?
