my friend had a wee battle with a rather large pothole....eekkk

does this look repairable?

was just about to say this. it does work by the way just provide enough evidence and send them a letter, don't phone them!

yeah im gonna sort it out for her...thing is what they gonna do..pay for repair or new one?
cos i cant find a new one cause they dont make em anymore

either compensation or pay for the repair. doubt they will hunt for a brand new one.

Definately claim mate, happenned to my step dad and he got compansated for it Not sure if it's repairable though or how strong it would be after

Take pic of the pothole with a current newspaper by it so they cant just run along and fill it in.

that is one big pothole it's just like in grimsby huge potholes on every god damn street I'm surprised my car is still in one piece

the council could argue that your car is running unsuitable wheels/susp etc...

Not clear cut.

They also tend to just bugger off and fill the holes.

You'd need something dated (paper) in the picture to prove dates etc

ye complain to council. if it not repairable they shud have to pay for a new alloy. plus that pot hole looks dreadfull. theres few bad ones near where i live and pisses me off. pay council tax and the roads stil shite.
